Please Help Support Our Veterans!
On Friday November 9th Birchwood will be hosting local veterans with connections to our families. There will be a school assembly to honor these brave men and women with a slideshow and performance by the 4th and 5th grade chorus. Before the assembly there will be a reception in the cafeteria and we are looking for volunteers to help with setup and cleanup.
Please consider having your children wear red, white and blue to show their support.
The school is still looking for veterans to honor and you can find the RSVP form here. The deadline to RSVP is November 7th. As a reminder, this event is only open to the honorees and their guests.
Finally, as part of Birchwood’s efforts to honor our Birchwood family veterans, our Honor Guard from RPI, and veterans at the VA Hospital, we are collecting unopened bags of candy to give them. The collection location will be the Birchwood main office until Wednesday, November 7th.
