Join the Nature Club at Monster Mash for a Spooky Story Telling Adventure in the Birchwood Forest

Something new for Monster Mash this year: ghost stories!  Volunteers will lead families on the Nature Trail to the Forest Classroom where we'll enjoy a fun Halloween-themed story  "The Little Old Lady that Wasn't Afraid of Anything."  There will be one session only, meet in the Kindergarten hallway at 6:45 to sign-in.  (Weather permitting.  Students must be accompanied by a parent. Two tickets per student; free for accompanying parents.)

Fall Fun in the Birchwood Nature Park

During this after school program, parent volunteers will guide students on an autumn walk in the Birchwood Nature Park. Students will participate in the following fun activities:

- identify maple trees that can be tapped during the annual spring maple sugaring program

- collect and examine fallen leaves in the outdoor classroom

- make leaf-rubbing art

- enjoy the fresh fall air and have fun exploring the trail!

Students in Grades K-1-2 are invited to participate on October 23, 2017.

Participation is limited to approximately 20 students.

This program will begin at dismissal, and will conclude at 3:15 PM

Please pick up your student after the program at the Nature Park Trailhead Sign. Students that normally attend Kids' Time will be escorted back to the cafeteria after the program concludes.
